Gluten free (Blackbean) choc brownies

I found this recipe on pinterest that i thought people might like, I'm going to give it ago this weekend! witha few changes to drop the cals a bit

Flourless Chocolate Chip Brownies
Recipe type: dessert
Prep time: 10 mins Cook time: 30 mins Total time: 40 mins
Serves: 12-16

Ingredients
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
2 large eggs
2 egg whites
¼ cup melted butter
¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
⅔ cup sugar
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Grease or spray an 8-inch baking pan.
Process all ingredients EXCEPT chocolate chips in a food processor until well blended.
Transfer mixture to the prepared pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Bake the brownies for 30 to 35 minutes, or until just set in the center.
Cool before cutting into squares.

    My daughter made something very similar, as as skeptical as i was, I tried one. It was absolutely delicious! I am not a huge fan of chocolate, so we just tried a garbanzo bean blondie - using brown sugar, maple-peanut butter, vanilla, and choco chips. Unfortunately our oven picked that time to stop working, so it didn't get baked. But it was delicious anyway!

    We used maple peanut butter instead of the almond butter, didn't use the oats (but WILL next time!) and used bran instead of the flax meal. Also, don't try in a normal blender. Use a food processor!

    I couldn't find black beans anywhere here in aus! iv been to heaps of different places so haven't had a chance to make them! i dod make some flour less peanut butter cookies though and they were amazing!
