Beginners Challenge.... 50 miles in May

Would have loved to have had a challenge like this when I just started walking, would have been nice. I am currently up to where I walk anywhere between 5-6 miles daily, so I will surpass 50 miles in less than half way thru the month. Best of luck to you all, walking is one of the best ways to lose weight I.M.O.0

This is a great idea!!! I am running a 10 k on May 19th so this is great motivation for me to get off my butt and run regularly!0

I'm in - just started C25K with my 11 and 8 year old sons, so we're currently walking/jogging very slowly 1m per day... will add some walking in to get up to 50m! How do you get the ticker sorted?0

I would love to try this challenge. I have recently (depending on the day I weigh) lost between 13 - 16 pounds in the last 3 1/2 weeks with no exercise. I have 40 more to go. I need to do this. I must get motivated. This is just what I need.0

I need some serious support, so count me in! I have 10 weeks to rock a strapless Maid of Honor dress and I've gained 25 lbs in the past two years. I turned 40 this January so my metabolism is even slower than it was before and between kid activites and work, it's difficult to make the time for myself. I'm up for 50 miles in May!0
