Thank you everyone. I didn't expect so many replies! Wow.
Just stick to counting calories and tracking on MFP and eventually the weight does come off.
The first picture was 3 months after I had my daughter. I was at my highest and it was after I saw that picture that I decided to change my life. I only lost 15 lbs the first 2 years, the past year or so is where the majority of the weight started coming off.0 -
That is awesome!!! I think all of us on here would agree that it's not easy so you have done a fantastic job!!

Soinspirational I have a similar amount to lose as you and am nearly half way there so seeing the difference it makes really helps
Keep me going
Can I ask about how your loss changed over the months? So far mine is pretty consistent though I seem to lose fortnightly as opposed to weekly ie 3/4 lbs one week and then nothing the next and so on weird huh? Did you lose a larger% in the first 6 months and then a much smaller amount in the second or was it just consistent? I guess I want to know what I am looking forward to. I havnt plateaued yet but am increasing my exercise from little to regular so that has kept me going
Thanks so much0 -
Only 15 lbs more to go and my BMI will be in the normal range. Currently 165 lbs at 5'5"
I barely recognize myself
BEAUTIFUL!!!! Congrats on your progress, very amazing & inspiring

It does slow down. I don't know why my body does this, but I will not lose weight for like a month, and then one week I will lose 4-8 lbs. It really throws me for a loop! I have also been increasing my exercise as I go along, but it does slow down. When I was at 270 I could lose 15 lbs in a month easy. Now I'm doing well if I lose 6. Some months it's been as low as 4 but others it jumps to 8. I'm pushing much harder now than I was before and getting less weight loss, HOWEVER, when I was 270 and I would lose like 15 lbs, nobody would notice and my clothes would fit nearly the same. Now, when I lose 5 lbs my clothes fit bigger and people notice.0 -
Wow, you're gorgeous! Also, congrats, the difference is amazing!0

wow great job, keep up the good work.0
