I weigh 195lbs and am a size 14 at most stores.0

Seeing women at 130 at 5'3" wearing 4s amazes me. I must have bigger hips.
I was in my largest 8s at 129.5 pounds and had three inches of belly overhang.
At 116.5
5'3"
Comfortable 6, some of my 4s.
I stopped losing weight because I don't want to buy all new pants--still enjoying mine.0 -
I'm 5'0" and weigh 151 pounds. My two favorite pants are different sizes. One is a 14, the other a 12. (All my past size 16's are now my yard working and messy project pants) I think it depends on body SHAPE and brands. Don't compare yourself to someone else in terms of pant size. It means nothing.0

5'9" on a good day, 5'8.5" on a bad one -- the doctor's measurements always seem to change.
Currently 154lbs, US size 10/12 in women's, depending on the pants brand, and US size 13 in juniors. The juniors clothing doesn't tend to accommodate hips or thighs as well as the women's clothing does...0 -

So here's my 2 cents on sizing... I have multiple brands of pants and they're all size 12, I was gifted all of these pants from my Aunt and a friend, because they found it obnoxious that I was belting my size 20-24 pants down to my size 12 body LOL. It was pretty disgusting. I lost my pants completely while working out twice! ???? So anyway, I started wearing my 12's in January at right around 200 pounds. Lately my 12's are feeling loose all over. Skinny jeans that are baggy are not the hottest trend lol. So I go into a store last week and try on some 9/10's and they're also baggy! Whoa! I think to myself: must be vanity sizing. Must try on 7/8's just for kicks right? They were OUT OF STOCK in the style I liked, sadness!! Later in the week I go by a different store, try on the size 8's and they fit!!!!! CANNOT believe it. Strength training is really shedding the inches even though I've only lost 12 pounds! I haven't been a size 8 since right out of high school!!! I didn't even think it was possible that I'd fit into a size 6 as an adult. So excited to keep at it and see what happens. (P.S. didn't buy the size 8's because if I could belt the 24's until I became a size 12, then I'll happily belt the 12's until I'm a size 6 LOL!!!)0 -
I'm 5"4, weight 118 pants size--- who the hell knows. Every store is different but probably a 0-2 or 26-27 if it's waist measurement not sizes.0

I am just curious whats your weight vs your pants size
im 236 right now.. and i am a 19 juniors or 18 womens
I am so glad you posted that! I hit 235.2 on the scale this morning and I can wear 15/17 in the Danskin stretchy yoga pants, and 18's in anything fitted...I was 280.4 when I started 4 months ago and wearing size 24 and 3xl shirts...I could not believe it when I was able to get into 18's at 240!!! I am convinced the clothing industry is upping clothing sizes to meet the obesity rate in this country.....I know for a fact in the early 90's when I weighed 180 LBS I was wearing 16/18's!!! Anyway I was not sure if this correct or if I just bought something that had been Mislabeled...so thank you!
Sizes have definitely got bigger.... in the late 80s/early 90s I was 230 pounds and wearing 22 bottoms and 18/20 tops at Lane bryant...... Today I'm 273 pounds and wearing 22 bottoms and 18/20 tops (and some of them are TOO BIG)... So at FIFTY pounds heavier I'm the same size I was 20 years ago?! I get it, there are more fat people, but just leave the sizes alone and start adding bigger sizes but enough of this vanity sizing.0 -

I am currently 5'10", 230lbs, ladies us 17/18.0

5'6", 150 pounds. Most of my pants are a size 8, but I have everything from size 6 (that fit comfortably) to a 12 (too small) in my closet. US sizes lack consistency.0
-
5'4" 118. Jeans size 6/8 relaxed fit. I hate tight clothes.0

235 lbs 5'7" and anywhere from a size 14 to a size 18 -- I have a pair of Maurice's jeans and a pair of Liz Claiborn that are size 14 and I have Lees that are a 16 or 18. I have a pair of J-Lo dress pants that are a size 14 as well. I also have some Lee and Levi size 14 jeans that I can't get up mid-thigh so it really does depend on the brand and the style...0

I'd love to see more guys post in this thread. Every time I pass a dude who looks around my size I wonder to myself what sizes he wears.
5' 7", between 194-190 currently. I wear a size 34 in jeans (though most of the pairs I own are 36 and 38 because I haven't updated) and wearing a Large shirt, though I recently bought my first medium.0 -
6'1" & 243 today. I fit into 40 easily and while i'm in the upper scale of fitting I have bought some Dockers in 38 that fit. Large and XL in t-shirts and polos. 17 in button up shirt.0
