That probably doesn't sound like a post title you'd hear from a man, haha, but I have been feeling "bloated" (hard stomach, feels like it's poking out more than usual), as well as I have a strained back (majorly sore), and I'm taking Aleve to help. The bloated feeling came before the Aleve, but I've had a rough few days nonetheless.
My point is that I've stayed under my calorie goal consistently every day, yet gained 5lbs in just 3 days according to the scale. Could this be fluid weight? How do I flush myself out?? Not just to get the number I want, but I feel like crud, too.

I am super sensitive to being bloated, ugh. 3-5 pounds makes me absolutely miserable until I can get it off. I just really up my water intake, and keep my coffee to the bare minimum (which for me is 3 mugs, I have a coffee problem), hot lemon water and coconut water are also good for debloating. Just drink up and it'll come off. My biggest causes of bloat are pasta and any sort restaurant food.0

To Zero.
I know that feeling! I had just recovered from a long fever/flu and when i started getting better, my body was 3kg heavier? This had happened to me before and its called edema(please google) where your body holds water because of many reasons, mine maybe i was allergic to some medicine i took.
do your feet looks bigger (swelling)? your face and yur thighs too suddenly?
please see a doctor about the condition. if the doc cannot detect the prob (like my case)..i recommed drinking a lot of water, drink green tea with honey, and sleeping with your legs higher than your body.
Insyaallah, in less than a week you will have your normal body back. I lost nearly 3 kg of water weight in 3 days.
Good luck0 -
I just started drinking about a gallon a day and that helped a lot with the feeling of bloat. It seems to work a little like calories. If you give your body too little, it will hang on to whatever it gets.0

Following post. Interesting. I hurt my back gardening on Saturday and pushed through it until it halted me in my tracks on Sunday afternoon. Now I'm regretting it. My weight went up 4 lbs since Saturday. I'll be drinking a LOT of water today.0

Well, I'm drinking a lot of water today. We'll see what the effect is.0

hard belly, bloated and feel like crud. Please do not wait this out too long before you see a Dr.! Book now and you can cancel when the time comes if you feel better.0

I already have an appt early next week for other reasons, so if I'm still feeling badly I'll talk to him. I think it's that I have overexerted myself, including physically over the past two weeks. It stinks being out of shape AND obese. I mean, I can climb a flight of stairs without huffing and puffing, but when I do certain activities (e.g. work on the car for 6-10 hours), my whole body hurts and apparently holds fluids, too.0

I lost a pound last week. I'm not going to complain. Trying to drink a lot of water to get my body on a normal pattern.0
