    Hi there,
I started the ideal protein also on March 27, I only have 25 to lose but I will be starting week 4 on Wed and as of today I think i have only lost 10 lbs in almost 3 weeks. Yes thats good, but I have not lost since Friday. Have hung on at 138 since then and actually went up 1/2 to 3/4 since then. I am finding i have to put spinach in my drinks to get my veggies in and every other day I am putting 1/2-1 cup of rhurbarb or zucchini in my jello to get more in. I am hungry alot though. My coach is almost 2 hours away in Des Moines. I have weighed in only once since i started. I will finally go in tomorrow. Will be curious to see whats on her scale and new measurements. Feel free to contact me anytime. My hubby is on this too. he has lost 20 pds today and it will be 3 wks for him on Thur. I am his coach, All I know is I do lots of prepping and standing in the kitchen. Trying to get a variety in for veggies and meats! Tell me more about your situation..
  • Ask your coach about the chromium supplement, it really helps curb your appetite if you are hungry between meals. I have been on the diet for one month and lost almost 20 lbs and 20 inches. Lemon juice is okay according to our clinic, and tomotoes no more than 2x/week. I also noticed with a lot of recipes that are posted that they use items not allowed, such as worcestershire sauce. If you find you aren't losing, try not to have any of the restricted packets. Also, don't use a lot of the walden farm products. Good luck!

Food Journal is your friend! Be honest and Accountable to yourself. I lost 30 pounds in two months when I was on it. The maintenance is the hardest part. This is not a crash diet, you must change your eating life style or your will gain more in your trouble areas faster.

I completed Ideal 2 years ago and am 5 pounds from my goal wait today. This is a journey. It will take time, it gets hard-- but you can do it, your are empowered and you will find the support you need to encourage you.

If you plateau cut out all Restricts, Sweeteners, Eat more Leafy greens and double your water! Make sure you are below 50grams of carbs a day. You can even buy litmus tests from health foods store to pee on to ensure you are in Ketosis.

I also reccomend only weighing yourself once a week, with your coach. Change your mind set and you can change your life!
