Just joined.....day 1 of INSANITY!

Hi all, today is Day 1 of insanity,......would like to meet anyone with an opinion or advice! I am also replacing one meal a day with shakeology...which is surprisingly nice...lol! I just turned 40 and whilst I have always tried to wrk out, I feel like I'm getting nowhere fast....so it was time for some drastic action.....I've GOT to lose 17lbs (would settle for 14 though...), more than that I need to firm up all over.....any support greatly appreciated.

Stay off the scales while you do insanity! I put on 5lbs the first couple of weeks!0

What did you think of the first workout? Did you do one or the fit test?
Both are equally hard, just don't give up because Insanity does work. Go at your own pace and I would stretch really well before the workout because the warm up is crazy, it's better to stretch before such high intensity warm ups.
Also if the crazy jumps that Sean T has you do starts to hurt just improvise another excercise. That's what I had to do, I couldn't do the diamond jumps so I just do squat jumps instead. I just couldn't deal with the pain in my shins. Stay strong and remember to go at your own pace.0 -
Omg......I hope I don't put on weight at the beginning, I really need motivation!!! I just did the Fit Test today - tbh that was hard enough to start with...lol!!! But my inspiration was the guys working out on the DVD...:-)
