My boyfriends mom gave us some Avacado Oil & the labels all claim its very healthy for you (better than olive). I am a VERY clean eater and normally dont use ANY oils when I cook or bake, but I am just curious if this is considered is a "healthy" oil & if so what are all the nutrients and positive effects of it?!?

Avocados are a good (healthy) fat that have high levels of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats as opposed to saturated fat. Since your body needs fat, it is healthy to use avocado oil as a source of that fat. Be aware that just because it's a good fat, a small amount contains a high levels of fat and calories. Approx 124 calories and 14 grams of fat per tablespoon.
Bottom Line: Healthy if used within your daily macros.0
