Yes! And you just reminded me that I need to do another one.
  • Absolutely! I use it to plan trips & submit reviews. I did the Grand Canyon w/a friend last OCT & had used a tripadvisor recommendation for our trail selection & sightseeing plan :) Had an awesome time & shared our reviews ;)

I submitted a bad one for a place I stayed in Ft. Lauderdale, the owner sent me an email insulting me and telling me I wasn't welcome back there. So I posted his email to me in the review. :grumble:

You're just a "COMPLICATED PERSON" and complicated people aren't welcome here. You really stress that guy out. Bwahahaha!

Absolutely! We were going to buy a day pass at an all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Rebublic as one of our excursions on a cruise. Then we read on Trip Advisor that people were getting sick/food poisoning. Who wants to knowingly take a chance on getting sick on vacation?

No, but I was just reading tons for an upcoming trip, so I appreciate when people write them :flowerforyou:

I used to, but it was taking a lot of time and there isn't actually any kind of usefulness. I wish they'd make it some sort of a game, or let you collect points, or *some* sort of incentive to spend all that time reviewing everything

Hubby travels a lot and uses reviews to help pick places he stays. He posts reviews as much as he can in hope it helps others.

Yes! I always use trip advisor when we plan trips, and I like to write really detailed reviews to help others. It's nice to share when you find a really good place!

I work as a Night Auditor at a hotel and we are very serious about our trip advisor reviews! Do them people!

Also, if you meet a hotel employee that went above and beyond mention them by name in the review! It really does make a difference!

I did this for a front desk staffer in Flagstaff after our OCT stay - she went WAY above & beyond :) We will definitely stay there again because of the awesome service we received! Matter of fact my daughter & I will be there again in June & YES our review mentioned her exemplary service by name!

Yes, every time I travel, I do a Trip Advisor review. Good or bad, I share it. I also read reviews to help me decide where to stay or what to do.

Not yet but I got so much information for my up and coming trip to California that has been so helpful. I plan on doing so when I return.

    All the Best!

Yes I did it once when we got exceptional service. Actually the management asked us if we could and since the place was great anyways we thought why not.
