Late 30s Dad - Needs some new MFP Friends!

OH.... MyFitnessPal. I've restarted with you so many times. Each time I say "THIS TIME IT IS GOING TO BE DIFFERENT!!!" And here I am a couple pounds above where I started. I always seem to jump back on after Easter (chocolate! jelly beans!)

I am at 216 now. 250 was my all time high when I was about 28. 188 was the lowest I've been in years. I'd be so happy to get there again! Actually, I'd be really happy just to drop below 200.

So...hello all, again. I'm looking for supportive friends to remind me to stay in the zone! Last time around I had a few MFP pals, most have quit or went idle

Add me if you want. I log consistently, only been on here since start of this year but I have made good progress and I am supportive.
I prefer friends that actually eat though!

Im 31 man and a father myself. And I look pretty good. Takes us a lil longer then when we were younger but I look better then most people in their early 20's. No replacement for discipline and hard work. Keep at it.

My 39th birthday is fast approaching. Anyone of you "late '30's" can add me. I eat real food and move heavy things (like my overweight body, for instance!)

I am new to myfitnesspal and need friends to help encourage me. I have already lost 20 of the 85 lbs , but still have a ways to go.I am 32 years old and have struggled with my weight my whole life. Not only do I want to get in better shape, I also have a daughter that is 10 years old and want to set a good example for her.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 37 w/ 2kids who run circles around me. I got to 230 & decided it was time to change. Since Feb 19th, I have lost 12lbs & will be weighing again tonight to see if I dropped anymore. My goal is 175-180, but would love to be under 200 by the end of summer. Feel free to add me.

Going on 40 and started MFP in Jan. '13. Turning 40 is a big wake up call! Just have a couple of friends at this point but I log every day and am starting to read the message boards more often, etc. - add me if you'd like. I'm working at sticking with MFP better than I've done with facebook...oops. Good luck to you!

Hey another dad here that would not mind helping motivate you
as long as you wouldn't mind doing the same for me. I'm in the same boat your in
tryin to find something that works for me is everyday a learning lesson.
But I will hopefully get it babysteps though I think the Hardest part
isn't doin this workout or that workout the hardest part is just starting somewhere you know.

If I could just get started and stay consistent I think that would have a huge benifit for me.

one thing at a time right man. I got faith in ya.
