Started on monday...anyone else start recently? Blog and post about it here!!

Today - RAMP it up...Holy cow, Debbie may look all nice and cute and innocent...that woman is a MACHINE! I'm about to passout by the end of the workout and shes all smiles and hardly any sweat...!! But oh does she look amazing! What an inspiration!

So I've made up my mind on what I'm doing for the rest of the year...

-Slim in 6: I hope to get to 150 using it...thats a 15lb loss...not too much to ask for right??

-Turbo FIRE: After SI6 Im moving on to Turbo Fire...yeah, I'm sOOO Excited!! Hopefully that will get me to my goal weight and size (125 or 128/size 5)

-P90X: Well, why the hell not? Get even more sexy with Tonys help! :D

But chayyy today was tiring...and to think there is an even HARDER DVD to move onto...ughhhhhhh. Love hate relationship much?

I've been doing slim in 6 for awhile now but I haven't ever done the 6 week program. I thought I had RIU mastered and tried to do BIU for the 1st time today. IT DID NOT GO WELL! I am really excited though. I can't wait until I can make it through! I was considering starting the program today. Maybe if someone else is doing it with me I will be able to get through the 6 weeks. I also usually take 2 rest days a week. I will try to pick it up. I'm with you on this. Tomorrow is my rest day so I will start RIU again in Friday.

Slim in 6 was my first Beachbody video, I remember those days....*ohhhhhhh man lol.
    Yes Debbie is a machine!!!

I found something better suited for me, Turbo Jam, then got spoiled by Chalene lol, and brought TurboKick which is her's.
Now I have Turbo Fire and well...man does she take it outta ya.

Good Luck to all those doing SI6, it's hard work, but you definitely get stronger each day you do it. I could even do a push up! :)

My wife and I are getting ready for a trip to Cancun in October for our 20th anniversary. We tried P90X and made through about 8 weeks. But we found we couldn't completely do all the moves so it always felt like we were cheating a bit. I know Tony says "Do your best and forget the rest" but it was discouraging to always be modifying or skipping moves.

The P90X fitness test suggests SIS if you can't pass the test so we decided to try it and to back to P90X later. We started this week and are still doing Start It Up. It's nice to be able to do the whole thing and get stronger with each repetition. Although I was pretty sore (the inner thighs from the Pliés) after the first couple of days.

I followed the 6-day diet reasonably well am moving on to using the nutrition guide. This site has proved very handy to keeping on track. We ordered SIS Deluxe so we got the Slim Series and Express videos too. We plan to move on to those after the 6 weeks.

I started at about 280 lbs a few years ago and lost a bunch on WeightWatchers. But I didn't incorporate exercise and gained some back after I stopped tracking things. I'm at about 260 now and hope to get down to 180.

It's going to be a fun journey.
