C25K Question

Hey folks!

I'm just over 100 days out from an RNY Gastric Bypass. I've lost 100 lbs. so far, of a goal of 200 lbs. lost. I'm at 299 lbs.

I've been walking 5 - 10 miles a day, every day, for the last several weeks, and yesterday I started a C25K program. The program seems to recommend only 3 days of running per week, but I'm out on the trail every day. Should I just walk on the C25K off-days?

Yeah, I know, it might seem odd to say "should I work out harder" when I weigh 300 lbs., but... I can tell this puts a lot of strain on my feet, ankles and knees (the impact of the running).

So, thoughts?

Thank you for your advice, Amyrebeccah. I'll go light on the inbetween days.
  • I just started this too! Welcome to the program :) On the off days I have added in Pilates and walking
