What is one exercise machine you tend to avoid?

I can not stand treadmills.. I hate them with a passion.. Simply because I hate walking, and going no where.
If I'm moving my legs, (aside from an elliptical), I like to be going somewhere.. Which is why I strongly prefer to go on walks/runs at night.

What is one machine you can't stand and/or refuse to use?

I also wont use the leg machine where you stand and can do kickbacks and all sorts of excercises just ecause it looks confusing. I am also pretty sure the jacobs ladder would be on my list.. though i really want to try it.

Stairclimber, the one like a little bitty escalator. Blew out my knee when I overdid it, and didn't even know it until the next day.

The treadmill. The impact is killer on my knees.

Elliptical. I know it's a good workout, but it's kind of like jump roping for me--I get bored of it really, really quickly.

Treadmill for me too. I like most of the machines in the gym, but I don't run much and if I am walking for exercise, I'd much rather do it outside.

Definitely avoid the Smith machine! Also the treadmill and elliptical things. xx

The elliptical and stairmaster... Both are hard on my knees, and the elliptical just doesn't make me feel like I'm working.

All other machines are fair game, cardio and weight alike.

The stairstepper thingy lol. I climb the stair climber but the one where you just take steps on the little pedals annoys the mess out of me.

Normally I like rowing machines but the ones at my gym are weird - the handles spin round in your hands so you can never get a proper grip and it's really uncomfortable. Also, love riding a normal bike but HATE exercise bikes. The seats are always so wide and padded but that's just really uncomfortable and pushes me right forward in my seat so I have to push myself back every 30 seconds.

I avoid any machine that is currently being used. I don't like to stand around and wait.

Stairmaster or any stepping machine. I find them boring. I'd rather climb actual stairs than do the Stairmaster.
