Fasted cardio

Hi. I've recently started weight training and eating a 40/30/30 diet and seeing good but slow results.

I'm going on hols in 6 weeks and would really like to boost the fat loss in that time.

Would fasted cardio be a good idea? If so, how long should it be for, would a 20min jog for example be sufficient or should it be more intense?

Also, any other ideas for quick fat loss? I have around 7lbs to lose that's all :)

High intensity interval training is the best option imo for cardio.

If you don't want to eat, don't, if you do, do. Even of there is seem sort of extra calorie burn benefit to fasted cardio, I think it'd be fairly minimal in the grand scheme of things. Almost all of my workouts, cardio or otherwise, are fasted, and I don't think it's made me lose any faster or more fat or anything.

I personally don't eat before HIIT, but I don't think there is too much science behind the whole "using up the glycogen stores" that people talk about in relation to fasted cardio. I just get crampy if I run/sprint with food in my belly.

    Calories in, calories out...
