The Vanderbilt team already emailed out the first assignment tonight -- and most of us here are already doing it -- track your food. (Class starts next week.) MFP is one of four sites they refer to for tracking.

I'm all signed up too, have been waiting for what seems like ages for it so start. I love how our first assignment is to track food too. I feel that the course is really going to let me look closely at what my family and I eat and how to make the best choices.

    Thank you

I've heard of Cousera as they offer some great maths courses but never thought to look for other subject areas. I cant sign up for these ones this time round as I'm in the middle of exams etc for the next six weeks but will keep an eye open for the next one.

Might also have a loo at others for during the holidays.

There's another nutrition course starting June 13th. It's offered by UCSF (University of California - San Francisco). It's the second offering of that particular course. I think it was first offered in January. Here's the link if you're interested: https://www.coursera.org/course/nutrition

Yeah, i'm only responsible for myself, but I think those who are responsible for the nutrition of family members really should take at least one of these courses.

OH. And these course are not just for USA folk, btw. Anybody from anywhere can take them. Classes typically get 30,000-50,000 enrollees. Pretty cool.

This will be a great pickup line whenever the subject of nutrition comes up.

    "Oh, I took a course at Vandy/Stanford"
