Youll fit just fine0

You will DEFINITELY fit! I'm a size US 28 right now and my seat belt latched on the jet planes...but not the propellor planes! :blushing: ....Talk about embarassing! I didn't say anything though! Probably not the most safe idea, but hey I'm still breathing. That's been a good motivator for me though!0

Should be fine but You should be able to find seat measurements on the airline's site or you can call and ask a worker.0

You will fit no problems0

You will fit fine!!! No worries0

That's the pant size I was at for my first plane ride. I fit just fine. I'm sure you will too.
Or you could buy two tickets, then you don't have to worry about getting seated next to an annoying person.0 -
Not only will you fit, you won't be uncomfortable!0

I travel with my boss and I would have to guess that he is around 350lbs and he fits, but he usually upgrades to the extra leg room.0

Yeah, you'll be fine. Watch out for those mother ****ing snakes tho.0

I am in a size 16 and I fit just fine. I wouldn't worry about it!0

You have to be bigger than you'd think to not fit in a plane seat. I wear an 18 and I'm still pretty big, and I fit. It's not the most comfortable thing, but I definitely fit.0

Yeah, you'll be fine. Watch out for those mother ****ing snakes tho.

Seatguru.com tells you the widths of the seats on all the carriers of note. 17.5-18.5" width is pretty typical, if memory serves. If you have an office chair, you can measure how far apart the arms are to get an idea what that seemingly tiny number really means.0

Very well done!
You will fit, no problem.
Enjoy the trip.0 -
The average coach seat is 18" wide but this can vary. If you know what kind of plane you will be on you can look up the exact width and pitch (room from your seat to the seat in front of you on www.seatguru.com0

My finacé weighs somewhere around 270 lbs & wears a much larger men's size than the equivalent to the 16/18 in women's you're referring to... He flies all the time & doesn't need to have an extra seat or anything. You'll fit fine. :happy:0

Well you could try to run onto a plane like a test run
just dont get arrested0 -
The first time I flew as a size 16 (down from a 24) it was like a party! It was a huge NSV to not have to worry about spilling into the next person's seat and the seat belt clicked right in and I had to tighten it a bit! You will be just fine..Congrats on the weight loss thus far!!0
