Blood Pressure Results...

Today, for the first time in a very long time (probably decades), my blood pressure was in the normal range... I have been measuring my BP for a few years.. I have been in the borderline hypertension category or worse. Today, (I took the readings 4 times to be sure, then averaged them)... 118/82. I am as excited about this as I am in losing weight, which is also doing well... 9 lbs so far...my goal is 55 lbs. According to the various calculators, I’m in the obese range.

I probably should have been on meds of some sort for my blood pressure... MFP is a brilliant program... it has kept me on track, and is very motivating. I have cut out soft drinks; I drink lots of water, and exercise. I feel great!

I've learned a lot about nutrition from the blogs, articles, and comments... thanks. There was so much I didn't know. The most revealing part was just how many calories are in a typical fast food combo meal... unbelievable!

Thanks fantastic; congrats! I was in the same boat and was on medication for HBP but was finally taken off nearly a year ago. It's a great feeling and you should be proud.

Keep up the great work and you will get the results you're looking for. :)
