lacking willpower

i need some motivational + willpower tips. i cannot resist chocolate and cakes and biscuits whenever i am presented with them. therefore i always go WAY over my daily allowence. i know its easy to say 'just say no' but i feel i cant!

i would grateful if some of you would share your coping strategies and willpower tips!

    How many do you have to eat before you are satisfied? Figure them into your daily caloric intake, then there is no problem.

    Enchant a ring with +10 WIS and you should be all set!

    I understand you exactly! Therefore I live by this: If I don't have the first bite, I won't overeat. This has been working for me for over a year now. I just don't eat processed sugar. I know others are able to still enjoy those delicious desserts and can limit their intake, but I can't. I've learned this lesson the hard way - more than once!

    It is funny. I am actually great at resisting temptation to eat sweets and biscuits when I am out and about around other people, but when I am at home and my husband brings things home or if I just want something I have a problem with eating too much or getting too big of a size of the treat. I gained a lot of weight by making homemade chocolate cake and getting large shakes from sonic- so good but also have a lot of calories. I have not had those in a long time.

    thank you to everyone who took the time to post a reply. had a really good day yesterday and checked in under my daily calorie allowance and was so happy. but today felt so promising but failed around lunchtime....cookie-fest.....trouble is once i know ive 'blown it' i just go completely crazy and pig out even more, knowing that i am doing MORE damage further!
