High Protein Breakfast and Lunch

Hi! I am looking to change things up a little with my routine. I would like to try a high protein/low carb breakfast and lunch and then have a high carb/low protein dinner. Has anyone else tried this? Looking for some low calorie recipes. I am currently eating 1200 calories per day.

I like to make pancakes using 1 banana and 2 eggs (you can add egg whites for even more protein). Just mash up the banana really well, mix with eggs, and add cinnamon. Sometimes I'll add stevia. These are delicious and super filling!

No need to keep your dinner low protein! I also find it easiest to have most of my carbs at night though.

The best thing I ever did for my diet was to stop "classifying" foods as breakfast foods, lunch foods and dinner foods. Now I eat what most people would consider dinner foods (steak, chicken, etc) for all my meals. Hitting my protein needs is no longer a problem.

Thanks for the replies. I will also try looking online to see what I can find. I usually take my breakfast and lunch food to work on Monday that way I have it for the week and am less tempted to go out. I only have a microwave and toaster at work so I am definitely looking for something that can be prepared relatively easy.

Thanks! Would you happen to know many pancakes this makes and the calorie content?

I've made these pancakes as well. I approximate the calories for one banana and two eggs is about 230 calories. Make sure the banana is ripe though...
