I wonder if anyone might help me figure this out?

So I was drinking a lot of beer last night and I skipped dinner. I know I definitely went over my calories but when weighing myself today I am 2lbs lighter than yesterday. I know beer dehydrates you and I'm thinking maybe i just lost water weight???
Also, are liquid calories the same as eating actual food??? Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

Yes, it was likely water weight loss due to the alcohol. In terms of weight loss, beer calories are sort of the same as food; however, they are "empty" calories, meaning they have no other nutritional value. Actual food on the other hand will have protein, fats, carbs, vitamins, minerals, and other good stuff that your body needs as well.0

That's happened to me twice, actually. BOTH times, I kept the weight off when I resumed my normal daily habits the following...er....Monday. *grin* I love my beer and my weekends.0
