    Pretty much the same here in Ontario, Canada....we were outdoors playing tennis on Tuesday, playing at the park and bbq'ing in the back yard. Now everything is covered in snow. AGAIN.

    On May 1st I played golf in 70 degree weather. On May 2nd I had to go 35 on the interstate because of snow cover.

    First time it's snowed in May since 1945.

    Its cheap to live here. We have zombie burger. We have some of the best whitetail hunting in the country.

    I've been to Iowa. I thought that it was a pretty state with nice people and good food. :smile:

    It was almost 90 degrees yesterday in Albuquerque. Today it's 52. This morning it was 39. What is happening???

    LMAO!! I grew up in Iowa so I an attest that all this is true. To further clarify some items from questions that were posed to me by persons not familiar with living in Iowa:

    1. Yes - we have indoor plumbing
    2. Yes - we do have a capital (Des Moines)
    3. The Five Seasons that folks from Cedar Rapids refer to are - Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Construction
    4. Iowa competes with North Carolina for the #1 pork producer in the nation. There are 6 times as many pigs in Iowa than there are people (3 million people/18 million pigs) - and yes it does stink on occasion
    5. The State Fair is awesome - they take just about any food, impale it with a stick, dip it in batter and deep fry it (this includes butter)
    6. 20% of the adults I knew had a CWP (concealed weapons permit) because (from a good friend) "you just never know what will go down at the Walmart"
    7. I've never lived anywhere else that neighbors had such a need to know about your business and if you didn't disclose your business to them, they would make stuff up
    8. I've never lived anywhere else that most neighbors will drop what they are doing to help you out in a time of need. Of course they'll gossip about it later at the church potluck...

    I won't disagree with you on that. Although there is one fond memory from my junior year at ISU in 1992 - ISU 19 / Nebraska 10. T-shirts were printed up saying "Proof there is God: ISU 19 Nebraska 10". It was almost as good as the ISU win over Oklahoma State 2 years ago in triple overtime. The Cyclones football team periodically finds a way to break hearts and destroy dreams.

    it's not the snow or cold, cause I'd love to live in Alaska. I'd just like some consistency

    It's the same way here. Unfortunately, we'll have a warm day, the snow will get 70% gone, and then BAM 18 inches of snow overnight. Ugh.

    Mother Nature is a tease.

    Send some snow to PA! Yes, it's May but we got ripped off. A mealy 7 inches of snow...all winter and it came in little dustings! I WANT MY SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!:sad: :sad: :sad:
