I know what I need to do. I just fight it.

I have to get 90-100g of protein a day. This is not so easy for someone who isn't a meat fan and loves pretzels. My Dr. doesn't want me to have any carbs. I'm not big on rice, potatoes or pasta and that helps... but the bread is making me crazy. I am cutting them back again and adding protein. Chronic pain limits my movment so I can't always stay active the way I would like. When I can it helps. I have come a long way and hope this site helps me reach further goals.

I am fighting that same battle! Bread is my weakness to and I should have none since I am so carb sensitive and past week have limit to only allow my self to have it once a week as a treat. Try if having a carb that it is a good carb or use it as a reward.
I think we shock our self when we say we can't have it, but if we say it another way in our mind it may work.. EXAMPLE
Breakfast time say well I will have bread at lunch, then lunch comes and say well think I will wait to dinner to have some. Then dinner comes around say to your self that I think I'll wait till tomorrow. ( that way you went a day with out bread and then do it all
Over again. That's how I quit smoking... Think I WILL DO THAT TOMORROW

You can get a huge source of protein from other sources. Milk, Yogurt, Seeds, Nuts, Beans, and even Veggies!
One cup of cooked spinach has about 7 grams of protein.
French beans has about 13 grams.
    Cooked kale 2.5 grams.
    Boiled peas about 9 grams.
