Hi,

I'm after some ideas, I'm struggling to reach my 2100 limit. Its alot of food. Im a heavy lifter and I workout alot so decided to eat this amount daily without eating back any exercise calories.

Thanks for your feedback

I eat around 2000 a lot of days and I got no problem getting there! Have some peanut butter, or an avocado, or a handful of nuts and a couple of dates.

I was gonna say the same thing! I could really go for an apple with about 4 tbsp of almond butter right now.

I'm trying to stick to somewhere between 1900-2000 most days. I could easily go much higher. Eaaaaaaasily. Feel free to check my diary, it's open.

I've upped my calories to around 2200 recently. It helps to add things like nuts, seeds, avocado, full fat dairy, healthy oils, etc.

A smoothie with a cup of milk, a banana, 2tbsp of pbutter? That would get you almost to 400. Throw in some protein powder, that would get you over 500. A handful of almonds would be another 200.

    Man, I'm hungry!

Full fat dairy and not so lean protein worked for me when I was building on 2300+. Sadly, those days have come to an end for awhile.

Don't fill up on "fluffy" food...eat more calorie-dense foods instead (a tiny handful of nuts can be hundreds of calories, for example....or put slices of avocado on your salad...)

Most days I'm over 3K calories, even when cutting. When bulking I'm north of 4K.

I can easily eat 3000 a day, 4000 too!! Whenever i see these threads i just dont understand how people have trouble getting to even 2000. You must have been eating so little for so long that your metabolism and hormones are all screwed up i dunno. I have to work hard to stick to my goal of 1900. im cutting at 1900 and most of the time i'm over but i try hard not to go over by more than 50 or 100.

If you really are having trouble getting to your calories just eat a couple of handful of nuts. 100 calories in 15 almonds, so eat almonds twice a day. easy peasy! Have a protein shake. 2 scoops has 220 calories, add 1 cup of milk with it and that makes about 350 calories. Shakes are not filling. You could have a meal like this twice a day and its not filling if that is why you are having trouble getting in all your calories. Cut down on your veg too because that is very filing

I wish i wish i wish i had this problem. i guess its a good sign though that i dont have this problem and never ever have had this problem.

and... it is not a lot of food, it just feels that way to you because you must have been eating at way to low a defecit. What amount of calories were you eating before and for how long ??

Trail mix and full fat cheese will bump it up too. I would never have this problem ever ever ever either. Give me food!

I'm cutting at 3250 right now. My maintenance is about 4000. Calories in vs. calories out. 5'10" 193 lbs (now). 3 days a week hard cardio, 3 days of lifting.
