Silly Doctor

So my doc has been following me for gout and high blood pressure. Today was the second check in since I started on MFP about six months ago. He storms into the room where I was waiting and, while looking at the chart, says, "She (the Medical Assistant in his office) got your weight wrong." He looks up and sees me for the first time, does a double take, and asks, "How much did you weigh?" I just laughed. He weighed me again, and confirmed that I had lost 25 pounds since my last visit and 45 pounds overall.
Silly doctor!

Love it!!! I work in a doctor's office and that is priceless. Although, the doctor I work for would not have had his nose in a chart when walking in the room. LOL0

I love it!
Poor old medical profession I think they get so used to patients not losing weight they are in shock when it happens.
I take a lot of pleasure when my GP shakes his head in admiration and says I am his first patient to lose a lot of weight 68lbs so far whilst on steroids.
Oh yes baby patient power!!
There is a little bit of me too though that sometimes thinks I have got the number wrong too as this is the first time I have lost weight so successfully thanks mfp0 -
When I told my doctor how much weight I had lost (25kg) he asked me if I had had a gastric bypass, since that was the same level of expected results.
I said nope, just ate less, moved more!0
