It appears that you have plateaued and your body has adjusted to your current weight. Some ideas to trick the body is to zig zag; eat moe than you are now and trick your body into thinking it has to work to burn off the extra and then go back to your lower caloric intake. Do you exercise? Sometimes with strength training you can lose inches but no weight. You may have to hold off doing it for a few days, again tricking your body. Or change your cardio reoutine a bit.

I hope that this helps and many responses will offer other great ideas

    good luck

Congrats on the weightloss! That is quite an accomplishment! As far as hitting the proverbial brick wall, don't fret that you're not losing: focus on how you "Look & Feel" rather than the number on the scale. I've only lost 10 lbs in the last 8 months and I eat very well, exercise minimum of 5 days per week and follow a healthy lifestyle. However, I fit into clothes that I fit into when I was 10lbs thinner because my body has more muscle, is toning and firming and just looking overall better. You may want to change up your exercise routine as well, add in more cardio and use some light weights. I.E. I just started using ankle weights again when I work out doing my abs, arms & leg routines & in the last month, I've toned my legs even more (I bought a new pair of slacks as a treat, they were a little snug but looked nice a month ago, I wore them yesterday & they are too loose now!). My actual weight has not changed much, I only lost 1 lbs in the last month, but the difference in how I look & feel is what I go by. I also mix up regular workouts with a Tai Chi DVD, which helps core & targets those muscles you didn't know you had that make all the difference. Especially during TOM or if my back is out, Tai Chi is still a doable exercise over weights and cardio. If you'd like to know what DVD's I use, send me a message & I'll let you know. They have worked wonders for me, and even though I weigh more now, I look better than I did 5 years ago!:flowerforyou:
