I guess what I'm trying to ask is does it matter exatly what u eat as long as u are in your calorie goal

Of course I know its not healthy to eat 50 mars bars to hit ur goal haha but I was wandering if the actual good we ate made a difference to our weight even if we stayed within our calorie budget as such

Thanks :)

As long as you stay under your set calorie target, you could eat at McDonalds every day. As long as you are maintaining a calorie deficit, you should loose weight.

However, you won't be doing your health any good.

Well for me if I'm not going over my fat ,carbs or calories .Then you can eat what ever you want but eating more healthy is more beneficial for you. Everyone has there own point of view. watching those 3 things helped me lose 80lbs in 7 months .

Also what you eat is going to have a big difference in how you are able to keep going.

For example you could eat only one meal a day, and it could be 2000 calories. The problem is that if it is high in carbs it is going to JACK your insulin up REALLY high. So after the insulin is done, it is then going to still remain in your system and..... HOLY **** BALLS I AM HUNGRY. So now since you are out of calories you are going to be hungry as **** all day.

Also your body needs all three, carbs, fat, protein, to keep from falling apart. So if you are short on one or the other your body is going to send the hunger response for one or the other regardless of calories.

Theoretically you could but I would not recommend it .

I cant say whether or not if eating fast food everyday within your calorie deficit will make you gain, maintain, or lose weight, but I do know that the higher calories thats in the food = the less you have to eat to be in the deficit, which might result is getting hungry later and wanting to eat = going over calories. Having higher calorie foods in moderation (and perhaps if you exercise that day just so you can eat more later if needed) should be just fine.
