I couldn't walk across a carpeted room in those. :noway:
Good luck!! :noway:0 -
Ouch!
My feet hurt just looking at the heels.0 -
Those are soooo cute!!!! Do you know where she got them from? I would love a pair. I'm a shoe girl.
Thanks in advance!0 -
I'm pretty sure I had heels just like that for my friend's outdoor wedding! (Except mine were a lovely turquoise shade!) Anyways, be prepared to sink into the ground while your standing up there! To make matters worse there were red ants everywhere so my feet and legs were all bitten!0

I've never worn heels and never intend to but let me say two words here--
"torture devices"
Those are not shoes--they are medieval torture devices!
Run away now while you've got a chance!

Pratice walking more on your toes and don't put preassure on your heels, because if you do you will get them stuck in the grass.... it probably wasent the best pick in shoes :flowerforyou:0

Be prepared to be kicking those off at the reception.
I was in two weddings this year and I brought flip flops with me and changed into those halfway through the reception. Luckily the brides did the same and I was not taken out back and beaten for it.
That being said, they are very pretty!0 -
At least you're wearing shoes! I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding last October in Boston... 45 degrees, dusk, and BAREFOOT!!!
when i got married, i chose a color from David's Bridal and let my 'maids choose their own dress and shoes. They are 4 VERY different girls in 4 different states. it just made sense....0 -

You must be a great friend to do that. :laugh:0 -
Well be prepared to wear those shoes only once - or have them dyed black or a dark color
high heels + grass = big green and brown grass stains on the heel.
BTW - they are really cute shoes0 -

I wore white Sketcher bike shoes at my wedding. They didn't show in pics, but were soooo comfy! I'll post a pic of them...

how'd you do that???0
-
here are the basics
first you have to copy the image location, the whole thing, including http:// as well as the .jpg at the end.
After you copy that, you have to paste it in between two commands. They wont actually show up if i type them here, but they are
but with lower case img instead make sense?0 -
like that?
thanks! btw, that pic was about 42 lbs ago!! hehehe0 -

i will definitely take pictures when i get my dress. its supposed to be in next month..the wedding is Sept. 20th... down in beautiful Charleston. Im very excited! we were best friends in highschool, and very different. I am very eclectic and an eccentric dresser who is very outgoing. She was always shy and a little sheltered but completely sweet and genuine..
anyway, the dress is my favorite type, (which she knows..yay...i need to find the picture of it online... it will be Navy and white i believe she chose, so i think the shoes are gonna stay white actually.
SO im sure they will be ruined after the wedding, but i could always just dye them! i dye everything else i own.
(which this is a whole other thread completely...but i decided on how i want my own wedding dress to be..and im set on it.. im the 'hippy artist' type, and so ive decided to go with a fitted white gauzy cotton dress that is t length....but that is 'dipped' like tie dye, into the bright colors of the rainbow!0 -
You??
Hippy?
Artsy??
I would have NEVER guessed??
hahaha!
wear the shoes and the wedding, lose 'em at the reception!
That's what I'll probably do when we get to the reception for my sis in laws. I'm bringing another pair of shoes! After all the photos are taken! I might bring flip flops and shorts for my sons (to wear with their navy blazers, white shirts and ties!) for the reception! Screw the Country Club rules! *I'm such a rebel!*
   :smokin:0 -
Brides are the craziest people, who ususally tone down after the wedding!!!
There is no such thing as perfection and all brides should be reminded of that as needed.
I cringe whenever a bride says, but I want everything to be perfect! That only leads to disappointment.
The shoes are cute, but definetly not grass compatable.
I wore isotoner slippers, my husband is a foot taller that I am, so there is no point in trying to be taller.0
