Protein coffee!!! Mmmmm yeah!!!

Oh my!!! I tried something new and let me tell you it is amazing!!!! I got a French vanilla ice coffee from dunkin made with skim milk I thennnn put a scoop of my vanilla protein powder in the coffee! It's 170 calorie 23 gram of protein and 1.5 fat snack to dip on alllll morning in my preschool class!! :) live it!! Next time I won't need the skim milk due to the powder acting as it which will save 69 calories but ugh great!!! :)

There's a protein coffee creamer called Ripped Cream that's pretty good too.

When I have chocolate flavoured protein or even unflavoured whey I add a spoon or two of instant coffee to it and mixes up great and tastes great. cheaper and easier than going elsewhere for the coffee too.

How many grams of sugar in that?

I use 1/2 of a scoop of either chocolate or vanilla protein powder, add a bit of milk, just enough to mix it up to make it smooth, add maybe a bit of sugar free caramel or vanilla syrup and then stir in my coffee! Love it!

If you like that, you might like a Coffee Coolatta protein shake that tastes like something I would pay $5 at Starbuck's for. I saw the recipe on someone else's post on mfp a few weeks ago. Combine 6 oz milk, 1 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1-2 tsp instant coffee, 1 T Nutella, and crushed ice - then blend. I also add 1 tsp cocoa, but I like my chocolate on the dark, bittersweet end of the spectrum. So easy to make, so delicious, and it fills me up for a few hours!

I don't use sugar in my coffee and 1 scoop of the whey protein is only 3 grams of sugar.

I know the coffee bean uses milk powders to create their lattes...now that you mention it I guess it wouldn't be too different. good idea.... but isn't 1 scoop too much for 1 cup of coffee? I'd think like 1/2 scoop would be better, otherwise instead of a coffee latte, I'd think you'd have a hot coffee milk shake (thick an creamy...which may be tasty but not my go to in the morning lol!)

Thanks for sharing, I have been looking for a way to get away from wasting 140 precious calories on my coffee. Will try this soon.

I thought 1 scoop would be to much too but a medium ice coffee is 24 oz and usually 1 scoop of protein powder is for 8 oz. I found the medium worked perfect with 1 scoop. The small was to overpowering (and thick) and the large I just can't drink that much! Lol the medium had a great French vanilla taste from both coffee and protein powder and the powder gave it that nice light color as if you had milk. I rarely ever use sugar but sometimes I will add 1 or 2 of the zero calorie stevia packets or if I need to equals.
