Okay.. PROTEIN SHAKES. Before or after workout? How many a day? Does it replace a meal or accompany it?? Recipe ?
What I have bought so far is GNC lean shake, a blender, almond milk, and bananas.

I drink them after workouts personally since it gives me energy if I need it and I add a decent amount of carbs so the protein and carbs help recover my body.

I drink them about once or twice a day for the to-go times when I don't have much time. Its helpful for me to do that. I'm not sure if there is a limit, but eating a normal meal with actual foods is usually a good idea to do. I eat 5 small meals a day so it does replace one of my meals, but you can also add oatmeal or fiber or more protein to help you feel full if you don't eat that often.

My recipe is 1 cup of fruit, 1 scoop of protein, 1 cup of milk (usually skim, soy, or almond), and ice if you want it frothy ( I also add vanilla to make it more vanilla-y). I also add spinach every once in a while if the protein doesn't have very much flavor.

GNC lean shake is pretty good, I used to buy that. I bought the pre-made ones, they're cheaper. If your comparing, try to find a protein powder with high protein content and low sugar, thats what I do. Also, your recipe sounds good :) I'd add oatmeal, but I love the taste of uncooked oatmeal lol :)

Hope this helps :) Ask any more questions if you have any :)
