Disney lovers who needo to lose some lbs

Hey Ya'll.....my name is Misty and I am a self-proclaimed Disney fanatic. I am new to MFP and need some friends on here. In the real world I am a wife, mom to 6 and school RN. I need to lose about 60-70lbs. I am addicted to Dr. Pepper and am really trying to kick the habit. I am walking at least 1 mile a night with hubby and working out to Bob Harper. I am starting to count calories here and keep it in check there. Looking for plenty of friends here so add me!

I too am a Disney Nut! We are going for the 6th time this September and I am really hoping to be thinner by then. I need to lose about 40 pounds in order to be comfortable with myself for the trip. I know it can be done but losing weight is a major struggle for me. My goal is to be able to wear tanks and shorts on the trip! Seems so simple but when you are used to wearing capris and baggy shirts, wearting a tank is like a HUGE deal! LOL!!
  • No wonder you're a Disney nut. You have to be to survive 6 kids. Hehehe (I've got 3 myself, including a set of 2 y/o twin girls). But, me too! One of the first movies hubby bought me was Sleeping Beauty because he knew I wanted it. I don't get to watch many because the 7 y/o boy's not so in to Disney, but hopefully I can corrupt the girls soon! Feel free to add me!

I leave in 39 for a week. I am starting Jillian Michaels body revolution on Monday so I can lose as much as possible before I go. This will be my 5th trip to WDW...we are surprising our daughter who will be turning 4!

Hi I started here in January with people I met on-line as we planned for Oct/Nov Disney trips. Many have dropped off MFP though we still communicate via facebook. I started Jan 7 at 219 lbs and I have lost 23 lbs by following MFP recommendations and no exercise. My initial goal is 175 lbs. Feel free to friend me and good luck.

We are leaving for Disney on the 31st! I am also a nurse but I teach at a nursing school. I started this weight loss journey to get more fit before our vacation. I am down 13 pounds so far with 85 left to go. It will be a long journey but I already feel much better and I know our vacation will be nicer because my feet won't hurt so bad!

That is so awesome...I am working on my masters degree in nurse education right now. It is my goal to teach nursing, maybe online, so I can still work as a school nurse. Have a magical time on your vacation and keep up the good work.
