Pink actually seems to motivate me the most. Something about angry girl music makes me want to work harder.

    current pandora channels:
pantera, 30 sec to mars, metallica, blood for my valentine

when you make a channel it plays the song or band you started with, and other music that they think it similar
when you rate it a thumbs down or that you're tired of this track, it doesn't play that song on the channel again.
or you can add more songs/bands to the same station for more variety.

edit to add amy lee, but it depends on my mood, the other stuff i'll listen to any mood/workout.

    I agree with this!

This is kind of silly but I listen to a Pandora station I created for Lady Gaga radio which is mostly like Lady Gaga, Pink, Britney Spears. I like the tempo for working out but I never listen to it any other times.

I have another station that is more old school on Pandora I listen to that is Push It radio which strangely enough has morphed into 80's/90's hip hop plus some Stevie Wonder as well as Eminem and Run DMC. It's a really strange mix but as long as it keeps the pace I want I am down with it!

When I make my workout stations I just give thumbs down to anything that is too slow.

I'm really into My Chemical Romance, heavier linkin park songs and stuff like billy talents latest album. Sometimes if its a long run ill listen to chilled out stuff like of monsters and men so I'm relaxed as in running

I agree with Five Finger Death Punch - especially most of the American Capitalist album.
Korn's Y'All want a Single always gets me going too.

One song guaranteed to get me moving is iron maiden, running free. Lately I've been listening to audio books when I'm running, getting lost in the hitch hikers guide to the galaxy helps me forget about the pain in my legs

I don't have specific songs or artists that I listen to but I use the fitradio app and love it!

Mumford and Sons has been good to me while I have been increasing my mileage. Their current album takes me 5 miles and the mix of beats works well with keeping me on a comfortable pace

If these songs come on I'm guaranteed to pick up the pace:
What Doesn't Kill You by Kelly Clarkson
Dog Days are Over by Florence and the Machine
    Firework by Katy Perry

I don't tend to listen to much pop music, but it makes me feel like a badass on the treadmill. I also like swing and bluegrass for the pace.

Normally I use the tunein radio app and use fitmix.fm station. for running i always speed up the tempo on my songs because they are not fast enough! slow tempo means i go slower. lol i enjoy trying to keep up with the beat.

"Red" is real good and fits with what you mentioned. Three Days Grace's new album is great.

Also to run I LOVE Timbaland's Shock value I and II and David Guetta.

My Ipod honestly runs from Rihanna, Pink, Breaking Benjamin, Of Monsters and Men, Nonpoint, Maroon 5, Kenny Chesney, etc...

Sounds like our playlists have a lot of similar music!

I've been into 10 Years lately, especially the songs "Beautiful" and "Wasteland".

"Animal I Have Become" by Three Days Grace if it's not already on your list!

"Monster" by Skillet. A little Metallica: "Carpe Diem Baby" and "The Unforgiven II".

A band from my hometown area, Bobaflex: "Home", "That Old Speed", "Better Than Me".

Sevendust - "Praise". Sixx AM- "Life is Beautiful"
