Peas for Breakfast

Ok so I'm trying to wean myself off of refined carbs, processed food. (for the most part) namely breads, pastas, etc...
My doc told me to break the norm for "meals" there are no "breakfast" "lunch" "dinner" foods. There's just food....I don't have to limit it to eggs/oatmeal in the morning and meat and potatoes at night. That's going to be a hard one to break.
Sugar would be a plus, but one thing at a time....I couldn't bring myself to dump my pop after I opened it this morning......
So this morning as I wonder what in the hell I can have... (keep in mind I had 6 minutes to think and prepare it) I pulled out last nights left over peas and threw a couple chunks of chicken in it.
Any other no- carb breakfasts that anyone can recommend. Tomorrow I'll have more time to prepare...so something with an egg likely...
But what do you guys haveas far as suggestions

Your doc is right-- there is no food police that surrounds your house and says, "I'm sorry ma'am, but you can't eat that now because it's breakfast."
That said, my favorite low-carb low cal breakfast is a "teacup omlette" made with 100g of whatever fresh or frozen veggies I have at hand (usually mushrooms and spinach, but leftover tomatoes and okra have actually worked in the past), 1 tbsp parmesan cheese, and 1 egg (or 1/4 c egg substitute). A shot of cooking spray in a teacup, dump in the ingredients, microwave for 1.5 minutes, and I'm out the door.0 -
I don't know much about no-carb but hard bolied eggs are good to have on hand as are cut up fresh veggies: carrots, celery etc. I sometimes have that for breakfast.0

Eggs are always good. And you can add veggies and have bacon, sausage or whatever with it.0

I'm really bad at thinking about food for breakfast so I tend to just make extra of whatever I'm having for dinner and put it in the fridge on a plate for breakfast. It has the benefit that my breakfast is already made and measured so I don't end up going for fast food.0

Left over dinner works great for me - chilli/curry/stew - I focus on making sure I'm getting protein and some healthy fat and a good portion of veggies. But failing that and I find myself in work minus my breakfast - our canteen serves greek youghurt/pumpkin seeds and maybe some fruit.0
