Trying to stay committed

So I looked at the app awhile ago and opened an account, but hadn't started really getting serious about my weight problem until about a month ago. Hoping by putting myself out there, it will hold me a little more accountable to the process. I would like to be able to lower my cholesterol and blood pressure. Currently, I am on medication for both. I have started a process that seems to be working so far. I am very controlled Monday through Friday, but don't count or record on the weekend. That is not say I go wild, but if on Monday I really want a hot fudge sundae I can remain firm because I know I can have it on the weekend if I still want it. Then if I do still want it on the weekend, I do not feel guilty or overwhelmed.

I still need to really start working on an exercise program and up my water intake. Hope that this will be an encouraging place to help me maintain my current determination.

Hi Darlene! I have the same issues you do, medical wise, but am trying to control my weekends.

I started my exercise by just walking a little bit and am increasing my daily steps and time now. Water is not an issue but have ideas if you want help.

If you would like, feel free to add me as a friend. I will be glad to support and encourage you on your journey to the new you.
  • Sorry, I just saw your post. I am definitely have not got the hang of this site yet, but I am figuring it out. I will try to add you as a friend, if I can figure it out.

As for water, I am up to about 5 or 6 a day, so moving the right direction. Baby steps.
