Beginning of weight loss journey (with thyroid disease)

I'm 22 and 5'2, 200lbs. By December I want to weigh 135lbs, and I know most of my fatigue is not just from my thyroid, but from not being active at all. I want to work out for 60 minutes for 6 days a week, while taking my supplements like I'm supposed to and fighting off insomnia. I just need advice on how to start off, and keep my energy going (though I know exercise can do that).

    I just got diagnosed with hypothyroidism the end of February and began taking medication one week later. It took a few weeks, but, I started feeling more energetic than I had in years. As a result, I have been exercising more than ever. Getting the treatment you need will make your exercise plans easier than you can imagine.

    I've been on medication (levothyroxine), since I was 20. Most of my symptoms disappeared, except for the fatigue. My problem is just getting up enough energy to get up and work out.. though I would like some exercise tips.

    I have Hashimoto's disease. I struggled with my weight since I was diagnosed. I have been taking synthroid since I ws diagnosed. I found something that worked for me and have lost 75lbs. There is hope! You can lose weight with thyroid issues.

    From experience, don't push too hard too fast or you will burn yourself out. Start with 30 minute workouts and slowly increase time as your meds take effect and symptoms subside.

    I have Hashimotos and decided to start working out despite my fatigue. I ended up with a stress fracture in my tibia from doing too much too fast. Start slowly. My stats are very similar to yours. I'm 5'3" with a starting weight of 200 and a goal of 135. With thyroid disease, losing weight takes longer. You may not be 135 by December but you'll be on the right track. Remember how long it too to gain the weight and then multiply that by 1.5. That's how long it will take to lose it with thyroid issues.
