    All from my dad. I always HATED hearing "Life isn't fair," but man, it's so true, and I'm glad I was set up for realistic expectations instead of expecting the world to cater to me or what was "fair." It just isn't.

    You can work hard enough to over come crappy situations.

    Enjoy the little things in life.

    Time is precious, don't wait to say I love you.

    Going to bed hungry multiple nights in a row won't kill me.
