Struggling to Lose

I have been focusing on getting healthy and tone since Thanksgiving. Wanted to be ready for the summer. I need to lose about 50 lbs. Decided to join a gym and get a personal trainer. I have been working out 6 days a week since. 3 days of weights and 3 days of cardio. I have noticed that I am gaining muscle, but I have lost no weight. The trainer takes my measurements and very little change there as well.
I finally went to the doctor to get blood work up done and too see if there was something else going on. Nothing came back except very low Vitamin D levels. She decided to put me on Phentermine a month ago and to keep my calorie intake at 1500, with a gallon of water a day, Increase my protein to 100 g. With all of this and in that month, I have lost maybe 2 lbs.
I am not sure what else to do or what is going on. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I am heading to the doctor tomorrow for a followup. This is so frustrating. I do count all of my calories, I eat as clean as I can. I have little to no processed foods. Do not eat sugary things. (allergy tests shows I am allergic to sugar).

Opening your diary will probably get you better answers. Your issues may lie with what you eat more than what's going on in the gym.0

Okay, let me see if I can figure out how to do that.0

If you are still on this site, contact me.......have you ever had your thyroid checked? It's a long story, but let me know if you want to know.

Are you logging your food AND logging every single bite that goes in your mouth? Are you using a food scale? It's surprising how a little "nibble" here and there will add up. Open your diary and let your friends on here help. I tried this plan last year starting in March and it was July before I finally started losing anything. Then --- I quit. Now I'm starting over and determined to log daily no matter HOW bad I do. It is a reminder to try better not just the next day but the next meal. Hang in there!0
