Curious ..

I was I wondering who works out in the mornings? And what do you eat before or after ? I need to get on track here. Ugh !

    I work out starting between 4:40 and 5:00, depending on when I drag my butt out of bed and can get it in gear. I rarely eat anything. If I'm really hungry already, I might have some oatmeal or a protein shake. But I like to have a proper breakfast, so I usually eat that after I'm ready to go for the morning.

    I work out in the mornings!! I get up at 4:45 work out from 4:55 to 5:30. Sometimes I will have a banana before I work out, but most of the time I don't have anything until 6:15 breakfast. But I do have to watch my carb/protein intake after working out in the am. or my blood sugar will bottom out by 8:30!
    I do my elliptical trainer every morning! I alternate days of 30 mins and 20 mins plus weight lifting. I also teach power yoga on Tuesdays and thursdays. I'm starting a 6:00am power yoga class in june I'm very excited about!~

    If you want to start getting up early every morning to work out I recommend doing it a little at a time. Your body will get used to it and pretty soon you won't be ABLE to NOT get up and work out! =)

    I work out between 7am and 9am i have 2 young kids so this is best time for me. Id rather do it there and then when i get up and once kids sorted rather than waiting until they are in bed at 7pm! Wouldn't want to have to motivate myself every night after long day with kids to do exercise!!

    I don't eat before unless feeling wobbly if i am il have a piece of fruit. Breakfast after workout consists of fruit and porridge cup water 1 live youghurs and a coffee x

    Work out 6 days a week saturday being day off. I also find that after work out at some point through day il do bit more exercise every little helps

    I usually start exersizing at about 8:30 (when all the kids are off to school). I eat breakfast before I exersize because if I don't I feel very weak and start to get sick and lightheaded.
    What I eat varies. Sometimes I have eggs with veggies and grapefruit or oatmeal with almonds and a grapefruit. And plenty of water before, during and after.

    I work out Thursday & Saturday morning. I don't eat before, but about an hour later I will have coffee, oatmeal & fruit. :flowerforyou:

    I do my cardio workouts in the morning, but lift in the late afternoon before dinner. I don't eat anything before cardio, just a coffee or 2.

    I work out first thing in the morning, and always fasted. I really dislike having something in my stomach when I exercise, which means I have to have different tactics on days I do events and stuff. But normally, first thing in the morning, empty stomach. I loves me some breakfast afterwards.

    I only eat something before working out if I'm going to be running for more than 90 minutes, in which case I'll have a smoothie (fruit, almond milk, tofu, nut butter, spinach, cocoa powder, and flax seeds).

    After exercising I'll have breakfast which is usually oatmeal with tofu, almond milk, nuts, nut butter, and fruit.
