Is anyone trying to cut out sugar? I always go over on my sugar intake...This week I added a teaspoon of agave nectar to my yogurt, so I won't usethat next week, but I go over even in a regular week. Is any one ever under or equal on sugars? I am good at keeping sodium to a minimum, but sugars get me...

sugars are terribly hard! items with small amounts of sugar add up fast! Fruit has a lot of sugar, so watch your servings of those. Eat whole grain carbs and less carbs = less sugar.0

Im alllllways over sugar. Bout to " quit" bananas because they are more than half my daily sugar allowance errr0

I feel ya, I think sugars are impossible to keep under
For me anyway, I have a major sweet tooth. A greek yogurt fills up most of my sugar intake for the day, so does a few pieces of fruit. I suppose natural sugars aren't as bad, so it's either that or eating things with artificial sweetners which some people say are even worse for you. 0 -
Unless you are a diabetic, you don't need to worry about sugar. Just track overall carbs.0

I've read that the daily allowance set by the AHA is for ADDED sugars. Not natural sugars from fruits and vegetables.

My trainer also recommends only eating high content natural sugar food items during the first half of the day and keep them out of the second half. Not sure how well that works though.0
