Runtastic calories burned vs. kcal burned

Hi, there!

I am using Runtastic for the first time today. I noticed that it is giving me calories burned as kcal. I don't know how to convert this to regular calories burned. Don't really want to have to use an online conversion tool everytime I exercise.

Am I missing the place where I can convert it to non-metric?

    Hi Dee, you've most likely worked it out by now that kcals and cals are the same... so, no need to convert.

    Hi, I have an issue in that Runtastic will state that I've burned 250 calories doing a 2m walk - but when it uploads that info to MyFitnessPal - MyFitnessPal states that I've burned 500 calories ? Has anyone eles had this issue??
