Women who lift

I've been lifting for over a decade, but with 4 IVFs, a baby in my 40s and being perimenopausal, the Nautilus and occasional New Rules of Lifting regimen isn't dealing with the lower body expansion. I haven't gained a lot of weight, but it seems that the area from my breast bone to my navel has just balloned.
The picks of heavy lifters have been awesome. So, for women who lift: What guides do you use? And, other than eating clean (and within your calorie range) did you concentrate on reducing carbs or fats or both?
Thanks!

I started many years ago with a personal trainer. When I decided to lift on my own, I used New Rules for about 2 years. I've now moved to the Venus Index, which I really love. I'm starting to see muscle in places I never thought I'd see it.
As for eating, I can't say I eat clean. I eat what I want, but stay within a certain calorie range. I also do occasional 15-22 hour fasts.0 -
i use dvd programs; i've done p90x and currently doing body beast and seeing amazing results.
i eat clean 100% with no cheating and within my calorie range. my meal ratio is about 50% protein, 30% carbs and 20% fats; plenty of fresh veggies/fruits and tons of water.0 -
I definitely focus on my macros.. I forget the low cal nonsense and just eat so I meet my macros (40c/30p/30f). I personally don't believe in the low carb stuff either but to each their own. I've had great success with 30 Day Shred as I shed an incredible amt of fat in 30 days and it fit in with my full-time schedule. Now I do Stronglifts 5x5, occasional HIIT and abs work (Fitnessblender) and play Soccer.0

I do Stronglifts 5x5, run, and I do not eat "clean." I eat to meet my cal/macros. I follow the 40/30/30, with my focus on protein and fat. Carbs fall where ever after.
ETA: I've only been lifting for a couple months now.0 -

I aim to eat at least 1 g per lb LBM of protein every day. The rest of my cals are carbs / fats. I basically eat what I want within those macros. I do about 4 hrs lifting per week.0
