What song pushes you?

I recently found another song that helps keep me moving while running "My Body" by Young the Giant. The part that gets me moving is "My body says no, but I won't quit cause I want more" This is so true with my running and playing mind games.

What song or album pushes you?

American Idiot by Green Day always gets my heart racing. I also love when DotA by Basshunter comes on my iPod when I'm on the elliptical. I can't not go fast when that song is playing. Oh! And several songs from the soundtrack for the movie Burlesque.

Sooo many. Couple of my favorites:

    Bad-U2 (" I'm wide awaaaake...")
    And She Was-Talking Heads
    I'm on a Roll-Over the Rhine
Silvery Moon- Big Head Todd and the Monsters, specifically for the line " Free at last, you're on your own..Don't stop now, you're almost home..." My ipod shuffle always seems to hit that song at the right time.

There's a guy I came across on youtube, Sticman, he is a rapper his music is all about training at the gym and his body, really good artist.

Some of my favourites whilst I'm training are...

Fabolous ft Jeremiah - Its my time
Maino ft T-Pain - all the above
    Icepick - Onward to victory
    Survivor - Burning Heart
Ennio Morricone - Ecstasy of gold
Five Finger Death Punch - Meet the Monster
    Skillet - Monster
    Sticman - Champion
    50 Cent - If I cant
    50 Cent - get up
    Saliva - Click click boom
    Saliva - Bad *kitten*
    Stemm - Face the pain
    Volbeat - Warrior Call
    Eminem - Lose yourself
    Eminem - til I collapse

I have tons but they are the first ones that come to mind.

Not gonna lie, and people are going to think it's totally weird but Defying Gravity from the musical "Wicked" has always ALWAYS kept me going. It's the song I put on when I'm ready to be like 'screw it i'm going home' and once I put it on I've got that extra push.

    'Til I Collapse - Eminem

Me too! absolute favorite to lift to.
  • I have 2 that I always play when I'm on the treadmill.

    1. Sub Focus - Tidal Wave
    2. Nero - Doomsday

It's not the lyrics but the music. They always help to push me harder!! :)
  • Jay Z - '99 Problems'

It's all I can do not to rap along to it while I'm running (and I am a TERRIBLE singer!)

Not weird at all! It's a really empowering song - made me cry when I heard it while watching the show!

I don't have 1 Song-I need a variety. I listen to Fit Radio while I'm on the Treadmill or Walking outside. No Commercials-just all Music. It is a Free APP!!! I LOVE IT!!

Godsmack - Moon Baby (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHdbQwaSY40) ... I play it whenever I know I am going to be doing a long period of intense running. I usually start it up at the 2:40 mark, an awesome guitar riff starts followed by lyrics "Tolerance...Tolerance for pain" that repeats a couple times. Always keeps me fired up
