I Feel like I look beautiful. I am confident and Outgoing..but then when I see a photo..I feel like I do not look anything like I feel like.lol...it's so odd because Im really a happy person. It's more of a superficial thing. I just want to look like how I feel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if this is the same thing or not but somedays I feel fine and sometimes when I look in the mirror I say to myself hey I really am not all that big. Then I start to loose my motivation to work out and eat right. But then again some days I look in the mirror and think who is this fat chick? Why can't I just loose the weight? I guess it all depends on your mood that day. Or maybe you are seeing yourself bigger than what you really are.0

number one: you are absolutely stunning!
number two:don't let a picture make or break how you feel about yourself
number three: i think you will wither away if you lose 45 more pounds! lol
i dont have any more numbers, but keep it up girl!0 -
lol thanx chelsey...I really technically should lose about 45 more pounds though...hehe0

Feeling confident about yourself is a great place to be. I would say that you are ahead of about 90% of us on here on that one!
I imagine that you are happy and rather healthy and that confidence is the way you perceive yourself. When you see a picture of yourself you may be suddenly seeing yourself through the eyes of a woman who only sees stick thin people in ads, on TV etc... so when you see a photo you are not perceiving yourself how you actually perceive yourself, but how you perceive yourself compared to all the other images you see in print all day?
Who knows.... Not sure that I said that right... but hopefully you know what I mean! Like suddenly you are comparing yourself (knowingly or not) to what you are constantly visually told is "normal" or pretty?0 -
hugs I sooo know how you feel....and its wrong honey...but I can relate because I will look at a picture of myself and cringe....or catch a glimpse of me walking by a window or mirror and get totally bummed out.....I don't perceive myself as a supermodel or anything....I know what I look like LOL...but just there is something that triggers those OMG NO feelings.....
and even though I know its most likely distorted by what the other's have said....public image of stick figures, compared to your REAL person body lol....or other deeper issues....its still rough sometimes.
I try to ignore it and say to myself...you look fine! you're fine....you're a good person....and maybe other's don't see me like I see me....lol sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.
BUT I wanted to also say...you are gorgeous....and as a person that is seeing the real you...not the you in your head...lol...you really look great honey!!!
big hugs and understanding!!!

A friend of mine has said it best. She's started boot camp they are taking alot of pics measuring ect. She said she had NO CLUE how big she was. She said " truthfully in my mind, Im skinny, I've never considered myself fat, because in my brain I AM skinny" Shes in about a size 24/26 and unless its pointed out she forgets shes a big girl lol0

I get the same thing. Some days I look in the mirror and see all the progress, other days, I look in the mirror and think "all this work and I still have all this flab" LOL     And I hate pictures of myself. I don't mind the facial pics but get the body in there, and ewwwww...:noway: Welllll I haven't had any pictures taken since I've lost the last 16 of my 24lbs but I always manage to find all of my flaws. Everyone notices their own flaws more than anyone else does. And everyone takes bad pictures sometimes. Let me tell you, you look great, and you are beautiful.:flowerforyou: I will never forget my best friend's husband telling me that it's all about how you carry yourself. And that I could have any guy or anything in life that I wanted if I believed in myself. I was very depressed, insecure, and down on myself at the time. (and this is when I was skinny, go figure, I just thought I was ugly) And he's right. I've seen some women in bars that really weren't all that pretty, but they were confident, happy and were surrounded by men. It is about how you carry yourself. And you being confident is a good thing. And you have good reason to be. :drinker: Remember cameras almost always add some weight and make you look bigger. Those models and pics in magazines, a lot of them are too skinny and unhealthy, or they have plastic surgery and pay to look good, or they have personal chefs and personal trainers. You are a beautiful person inside and out. Don't ever forget it!0

((HUGS))
I think we have all gone through these ups and downs in our lives
I look back at pics when I thought I looked good and think I look cruddy and vice versa
Now that I have lost the weight I feel worse about what I used to look like (then I felt at the time..)
Did that make sense?
I know we are all on this site to loose weight and get healthy.....but who you are inside and how you feel about yourself (regardless of what the scale says) is what's most important
Having people around you that care about u, no matter what size u are
