What order to do things in the gym?

Hello
This is my first post on MFP.
I am doing cardio work at the gym (either treadmill / crosstrainer / bike) and am using the settings for Cardio workout or Fat Loss workout. The machine tries to get heart rate to a certain rate for each of the options. Should I do the Cardio (faster heart rate) or Fat Loss (lower) first? Or does it not make any difference?
Thanks
Nessa

Honestly it's up to you but for my personal preference I usually always do the cardio workout at the gym. Just go back and forth and find out which one you feel more comfortable doing.
oh yeah, and welcome!! :happy:0 -
Do fat loss first to get your muscles warm then really kick into gear.

Cardio is more effective (and you burn more calories) when it's done AFTER strength training. I would say for the machine, cardio first and then fat loss because the fat loss will be a more intense work out as your heart rate will need to be a lot more elevated.0
