Eat clean, train dirty!:)

Hi there, everyone! My name is Nicole. I lost a lot of weight eating Paleo, so therefore my goal is to gain mass on paleo. I just completed my first 30 days and put on 2.8 lbs from heavy lifting and eating at a surplus. I would love to meet others with similar goals!:) or anybody, really:) So lets motivate/support each other!!:)

Hi Nicole, I also eat clean (Primal, working toward Paleo) and train dirty. You look amazing and I'd love to pick your brain and vice versa!

Sometimes you see these exact types of posts and it is marketing for beachbody or one of those types of programs. Not saying that is the case here.

Good luck with all your fitness goals.

    Check out nerdfitness.com.
  • Me too Nicole. I've just started paleo an still adjusting to the eating choices. Not doing very well and need guidance and support. What book or other guide are you using? I also started crossfit, but pulled a thigh muscle and having to take a few days off. But I will be back!!

I'll bet a bum cheek you haven't gained nearly 3 pounds of muscle in 4 weeks. No way no how. That would be amazing for a man let alone a woman.

Didn't think it was such a crime to seek/give motivational support!! Especially on a motivational/support board! What is this world coming to? If you dont have anything nice to say, then dont say anything at all. Im very proud of all that ive accomplished. Now, if youre kind and looking for some support, im a genuine and caring person. Feel free to request me:) & NO im not trying to scam about that beachbody crap. Thank you!

Nik-Ignore the BS responses. People love to hate or bring others down. You never claimed that it was pure muscle gained, they just assumed wrongly. It's refreshing to see young females actually wanting to gain weight and muscle the proper way instead of finding ways to 1000 calorie burns or starving themselves like this site is full of. I think you're doing a wonderful job and know you're always researching ways to improve. Keep pushing girl!

I guess neither of you are familiar with the term "newbie gains." I gained like almost 10lbs my first month, yet i looked 10-15lbs lighter. talking about when i started an intensive lifting routine.

Not to mention the girl never claimed it was all muscle. She just said she gained.

Interesting that I never said it was or was not muscle...I asked 2.8 lbs of what. Also, I find it funny that the OP wants to go on about people being mean, but doesn't even attempt to answer the question.

As far as newbie gains, we don't know what her routine is, how much she's lifting, or really anything for that matter. So, congrats on your 10lbs of first month gains...but that doesn't mean a thing regarding the OP. She hasn't said anything.

Add me if you like - I'm not on a paleo diet or anything like that, but would love to have someone like you on my FL. Motivated, positive, successful, always welcome in my circle. :) As long as you're not going to bash me or my friends for not doing paleo... lol. You don't seem the type, though. I think it'd also be cool to peek at your food diary for ideas. Good luck with the gains! :flowerforyou:

The 10lbs was not directed toward you.

And nobody is asking you to prove anything, at least I'm not, but if you're going to post in a public forum, expect someone to ask questions. I'm not saying you're not making gains, but if you're claiming 2.8 lbs of muscle for 30 days with no indication of your routine, experience, or whatever else, then people are going to be a little leery.

You don't have to care, you don't have to prove anything, but don't expect everyone to jump on the "support bandwagon" just because you posted some claims on the internet.

Nope never heard of newbie gains, what is this strange phenomenon you refer to??! If I had a sarcasm font it would be in use here....She's hardly a newbie judging from her profile pic. I don't think she would fall in the beginner category do you? You happen to have that magic ingredient called testosterone as well, she doesn't (well very little compared to a male). Your 10lb gain is irrelevant to a already trained female I would say IMO.

OP there was no malice in my first post, it was more in humour than anything. Humour doesn't always translate well on the tinterweb though, so apologies if I seemed a douche.

She's a lucky girl then as she looks like shes been lifting for while. Not the best profile pic but, she deffo doesn't look like a stranger to the weights room from what I can tell lol
