Can't find an Unsweetened almond milk in my city... Is the sweeted one so bad?

    Not necessarily bad just twice the calories. Still less than milk though.

    You sure. They don't keep it with milk at my store and its on the bottom shelf. So damn hard to find.

    Ask the store to order it for you. Tell them how much you will need per week and they will probably accomodate you.

    sweetened isn't the end of the world. i prefer rice milk myself. as others have said, it should be easy to special order it. i currently get my rice milk by the case from costco.

    My local Dillons (Kroger store) has a little health food section and the almond milk is found there, not with the regular milk. The sweetened and chocolate ones are at eye level, and the unsweetened ones are near the bottom. Have you tried asking a worker at one of the stores if they sell it? Or try a health food store? Good luck finding it!
