MyTracks and Averages

Hello,
I love using MyTracks but I was wondering if anyone could verify something for me. I usually do combo walks, runs, jogs so I don't have a consistent gait. MyTracks of course gives the average pace and time. Is this average fair to use when entering into MFP? Example - average 5 mph for 24 min - can I use this in MFP and get a fair estimate of calories burned?
TIA

I am kind of in the same scenario. I walk/jog about 4-5 at a time and use Mapmyfitness app on my phone to give me my mileage, time, pace and calories. I usually log my minutes as a “walking, 4.0, very brisk pace” and the calories from my phone are close to MFP but usually slightly under. I use the one from my phone because I think MFPs are a little exaggerated. I do not know if it is a “true” count but it is better than nothing.0
