Yes, I'm 116 pounds and 4'11". I'm getting married in October and want to feel good about myself! I'd like to get down to 110lbs! I feel it's harder then I imagine! Any help/advice... can't really afford to go to a gym, but I do have a park right next to my house so I could go walking everyday! I drink a lot of water as well!

6 pounds sounds like a small amount, but since you are tiny as it is it might take longer for you to lose it!
I would say set your calorie target between 1200-1400, go for a 30-40 minute walk maybe 3-4 days a week, and drink plenty of water.
I have my target set at 1400, I do 3-4 days working out (either treadmill running, walking outside or stationary bike for 30-40 mins) and have really tried to drink more water and in the past week I have lost 2 and a half pounds, so I must be doing something right lol! I wish you the best of luck feel free to add me x0 -
I am a member on Weddingwire.com and a lot of people on there told me about myfitnesspal so I decided to add the app on my phone so I did! 6 pounds is little too lose, but when I look at myself in the mirror I feel fat. :frown: It said my calorie target is 1200 and I'm going to start going by it as of today!
I should defiantly start walking since it's right by my house. Good for you to lose 2 and a half pounds!
I'll add you!0 -
You look lovely on your profile pic, we all have hang ups about our bodies and if losing 6 pounds will make you feel happier and healthier you should go for it :-) don't lose too much though! As you are only small and look slim already!! x0

When you're getting pretty skinny, the only thing I find that boosts weight loss without going lower than 1200 calories is intense exercise. Could you potentially get interested in running?0

I bumped my calorie intake to 1385, it's in the middle. I've just been eating smaller portions and so far, I've lost 2lbs!0

Hi there! I am a 5'1" and have gone down from 110 to 103 since I started implementing nutrition changes and switching up my workout. I think I started around mid-March. I have many, many thoughts on this that I'll post later once I actually get them together, but feel free to add me if you'd like.
FYI, I work out 6 days (varying types from kickboxing to heavy weights to intervals) and my calorie intake is around the 1300-high 1500s (depending on the workout I do). My diary is open, so feel free to browse (but it's a little boring).0 -
I'm 4'11" too and my goal is 109. I'm currently about 111 and I started at 119. The weight loss will probably be slower than for people who have a lot to lose since essentially we're just trying to get off those last few pounds, right?
I did an online calculator to find out my TDEE. I'm not insanely active, but I'm generally moving around at home around the house (I have a desk job 3 days a week). I do yoga a few times a week and gardening when it's nice out. I want to get into strength training, but that's a whole other story.
That said, my calories are set at 1694 a day. I've noticed I've still been losing weight at this amount so my advice would be to not go too low in calories and "crash diet." The pounds won't stay off that way. Instead, find your TDEE and eat a couple hundred calories below that.
Losing from a half pound to a pound a week is probably realistic for you (comparing it to my experience).0 -
Hi! My names Libby, I am 5'2 and currently 124 lbs. I was 136ish.....all i have been doing is staying at 1200 cals. drinking tons of water and eating alot of sandwiches, tuna, fruit and veggies. It's incredibly hard to stay below 1200, you almost feel as though you are starving yourself. I eat turkey sandwiches with no cheese a lot. Use whole wheat low cal bread. The best thing is to go to the store weekly and plan out what youre going to eat. I get irritated because i'd rather have a cheeseburger but I eat it my planned meal anyways and try not to give in. Good luck! I'd like to add you if you dont mind! We have similar goals! i want to be 115 too!!!0

Feel your pain. I am 5"2" and 53 yrs old in menopause. I hit my goal weight and unfortunately, gained a few back. Now I need to lose 5-7 lbs. This is so hard as this is a huge % of my body weight - apx 3%!!! That is a lot. I exercise and eat right. The weight is coming off but slowly. However, my clothes are not as tight and I do feel better. Had to give up alcohol all together. The worst part.0

Yay more petite ladies. I am 4'11 and have gotten up 129 pounds! Which doesn't sound like a lot but it is for my short frame. Ultimate goal is to get under 110. Friend me so we can keep each other motivated. I have been slacking and could use more friends on here to stay motivated.0
