Hi all, my name is Jamie. I am a 34 year old mom of three, ages 8,11, and 13. I have been married for over 14 years and I live in Texas. I work full time as a Configuration Management Specialist, and I am also currently working towards my college degree. Unfortunately I spend a lot of my time behind a desk at work, and then running the kids around to their activities after work. Which is why I am now at my heavist weight...224 when I weighed in on Sunday. Sad, shocking, dissappointing. I could list a whole slew of reasons as to what led to me to 224, but the fact is I am here, and I have to do something about it.
I have been running off and on for a few months. I LOVE the C25K program. Did my second 5K last month and haven't ran since. I started Insanity this week, I LOVE it. It is tough and I feel like I can't dig deeper at times, but I am pushing through. I plan to run in the evenings or do some extra strength training as time permits. I know I need the muscle mass to help with the weight loss.
Anyway, look forward to getting to know some of you. The motiviation on this site is amazing and the success stories are inspiring.
SW: 224
CW: 224
GW:150 (this will likely change, but for now it is my long term goal)
Thanks,
Jamie

Awesome Leonmachine, and best of luck!!! I am sure you will rock it.
I have yet to do a normal one, both of mine have been obstacle course in nature, but that makes them fun. I plan on doing a "plain jane" 5K in the near future to see how I fair.0
