Question about protein

I currently mix mine (Vanilla flavored) with water... It's not so great tasting.

Has anyone tried mixing their protein with vanilla soy milk or something else?

Thanks in advance.

People usually mix with milk, almond milk, soy milk, yogurt - usually the colder the liquid the better the taste. Also there are different and better tasting protein powders. Which one are you using?

Found these for someone else, if anyone knows of a cheaper source, let me know

BTW, I usually just mix mine with water because I don't have room for the extras from milk. I take the Syntrax Matrix 2x a day, Cookie & Cream is really good, but most of their flavors are really good.

Oh yeah I mix mine with vanilla soy milk or in my protein shakes or even with water. I think a lot of it depends on the brand. I've tried a few were they don't mix or taste awful. I think Designer Whey or EAS brand taste yummy with just water! :) And you can get those at Target.

I know it takes a lot more time, but I really don't like the taste of it with water or milk, so I blend it with fruit and make smoothies.
I didn't want to have to do this, because I'm usually already running late for work, but it really tastes 100% times better!!!

    My 2 Recipes are:

Banana - 1 scoop vanilla whey, 1 banana, 2 tbsp PB2 (powdered Peanut butter), 1/2 cup almond milk, and lots of ice.

Mixed Fruit - 1 scoop vanilla whey, 1.5 cups Mixed fruit (I use Great Value's big bag of mixed pineapple, strawberry, mangos, and peach), 1 cup almond milk, and just a little ice.

I mix mine with unsweetened almond milk. I use BSN lean dessert and it reminds me of melted ice cream. Its about 186 calories depending on how much almond milk I use.

I never use mines in a shake. I mix a scoop 25g with 100g of total 0% yoghurt. I hate the look and smell of that yoghurt but once its mixed it goes really smooth like a normal one. I'll add a tbsp of stevia, some flaked almonds and 100g chopped strawberries, its lovely! I also make pancakes with it or a mug cake.-Protein powder, egg whites, baking pwder, milk and stevia.
