I am butt-hurt.

But it was a gorgeous 9-mile bike ride last night!!

I'm getting smarter - started on the uphill. Had to get off and walk 4 times total which is fine.

Took a 15 minute break at the end, had some trail mix, and zoomed back!! And stopped and took a couple pictures.

I think I've found my new path.

(And I can't access Facebook at work so I can't grab the pictures, darn it!)

Keep it goin! I've been through 3 bike seats and over 500 miles to find one that I really love. It also takes a lott of time in the saddle to get comfortable with it. Make sure your bike is adjusted to the appropriate height (that helps a lot) and be sure to adjust and come off the seat whenever you can. It helps, too. Best of luck! I'm hoping my butt isn't too sore after this weekend's century ride!

@Samiamm6603--It's all proper -- I'm lucky to have a boyfriend who has been in the industry since 1979! (I was 5....as I love to remind him--but he started as a teen.) Have a great time on the century ride! That's one of my goals!!

@redhead1910--I took a spinning class twice...you are a brave woman!!
